The International Conference of Urban Commons a great success

Co-organized by the Generative Commons project and the Law department of the University of Turin, the conference of Urban Commons provided an extensive glimpse into the challenges facing commons as well as the tools at the disposal of initiatives and citizen movements.

Research and papers from around the world were presented in what can be labelled as one of the most comprehensive events on the topic of commons.

Two full days

The conference featured presentations on numerous issues and themes, including the following headings:

From Urban Voids to Generative Commons, Engagement and Impact, Infrastructures of Urban Commons, Urban commons in action.

Providing a global perspective on the topic of the commons, the conference culminated in a final discussion round moderated by Eutropian’s Levente Polyak.

The hybrid event combined in-person attendance with online presence. Conference attendees were able to discuss issues further while enjoying the city of Torino and all it had to offer during outings in the evenings.
